Wish I had him for a teacher

Written March 5, 2010 and tagged as Newscomments(2 comments)

Bob Rammelt, the drama teacher from Gila Ridge High School in Yuma, AZ is a man who takes his job seriously.  We first met him at a play at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego.  He was there scouting out possibilities for his school productions as we were for the theatre.  Then last Saturday he hired a bus and brought 50 of his students all the way to Tempe to see Mary Poppins and then to Gilbert to see Guys and Dolls.  What a great opportunity for his students to learn to appreciate the arts.  Kudos to you Mr. Rammelt!

Wow! Here’s a belated note of thanks for the kind words. Bob plans to bring a bus load of Yuma Community Theater folks to your place soon, and another big trip with the high school drama kids during the school year. [We were alerted to this post by a friend in Wisconsin who Googled Bob looking for his mailing address. Isn't the internet grand?]
