CAMBRIAN JAMES
Director / Choreographer

Cambrian is an actor, dancer, director and award-winning choreographer with numerous ariZoni awards for Choreography and Hair & Makeup Design. He was last seen as Edna Turnblad in Hale’s Hairspray. Cambrian has performed in theaters in southern California as well as in national tours. He’s a successful choreographer notable for his versatile staging in traditional theater settings, directing and choreographing at numerous theaters throughout the Valley. He thanks Dave, Corrin, Lincoln and Laszlo.

 
LINCOLN WRIGHT
Music Director

Lincoln is honored to be back at the Hale where he has been music director for many shows including Dames at Sea, A Christmas Carol, Little Women and Hairspray. He was last seen on the Hale stage in A Christmas Carol as Fezziwig and the Undertaker. He is also a pianist for Ballet Etudes and Ballet Arizona. Lincoln still keeps his day job as an attorney at the Udall Shumway law firm, handling nursing home neglect cases.


 
 
CHELSEA JANZEN
Dora Lee

Chelsea is no stranger to the stage. She was recently seen as Adele in Die Fledermaus and has sung the role of Susanna in selected acts from The Marriage of Figaro. Chelsea was a winner in the Young Artists Debut Concerto competition with the Oregon Symphony. Roles include: Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, and Anne Shirley in Anne of Green Gables & Anne of Avonlea. She is thrilled to make her Arizona debut at HCT.

 
BRANDI BIGLEY
Violet

Brandi is making her first appearance at the Hale. She is so grateful to Lincoln and Cambrian for this amazing opportunity. Favorite roles: Little Edie Act 2 in Grey Gardens, the Musical (ariZoni Award) and Anita in West Side Story (ariZoni Award) with Tempe Little/Live Theatre (RIP) as well as Muriel Eubanks in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime with Mesa Encore Theatre. "Love to my mom, g'ma Ann, the banana and Jamie for their constant support!"



 
EMILY GIAUQUE EVANS
Judy

Emily is currently starring in Hale’s Dames at Sea (Ruby). Other Hale roles: Lola in Damn Yankees (ariZoni winner) and Nellie Forbush in South Pacific. She was the lead singer/dancer for Holland America’s World Cruise, performed throughout Europe, China, and Japan, at Hale Orem, with BYU Young Ambassadors, and Lagoon. Roles: Rizzo (Grease), Amber (Hairspray), and Adelaide (Guys and Dolls). A BYU graduate, Emily thanks Dave, Corrin, Cambrian, Lincoln, her family and most of all, her husband, Chris.

 

TRACY PAYNE BLACK
Roz

Tracy is thrilled to be playing Roz in her first show at Hale Centre Theatre! She was recently featured in Mama Won't Fly at Theater Works. Previous local productions include All Through the Night (the Fraus) ariZoni nomination, Sweeney Todd (Mrs. Lovett) ariZoni nomination, Into the Woods (the witch), Footloose (Vi Moore), and Pulp (Eva Malone) ariZoni nomination. HECTOR CORIS
Frank Hart

Hector is thrilled to return to Hale where he made his Arizona directorial debut with Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Just three years in Arizona, Hector has appeared at MCC where he received an ariZoni nomination for his performance in The Drowsy Chaperone, Scottsdale Musical Theater Company and Hale (Bye Bye Birdie, The Secret Garden). TIM OAKS
Josh / Ensemble

Tim was recently seen as Dick Wilkins in Hale Theatre's 2013 production of A Christmas Carol. Tim has performed at Chandler Gilbert Community College, Valley Youth Theatre/Herberger Theatre. His favorite roles include: General Schmitz in Seussical (CGCC/VYT), Baloo in The Jungle Book and Tigger in Winnie the Pooh Christmas Tail (VYT). Tim must thank Santiago, Cambrian and Dave before he heads "away" to the University of Northern Colorado next year in pursuit of his Theatre Degree!



 
TINA KAHLIL

Tina is thrilled to be performing with Hale Centre Theatre for the first time. You may have seen Tina performing around the valley in Bye Bye Birdie (Rose, ariZoni nominee/MET Best Actress Award), Schmulnik’s Waltz (Minnie, ariZoni nominee), Company (Marta), Rent (Maureen), Carrie (Miss Gardner) and Seussical (Mayzie LaBird). LIZZIE BAGGLEMAN

Lizzie is happy to be back the Hale where she appeared in Bye Bye Birdie. An ASU graduate with a BA in Theater, Lizzie teaches theater around the Valley. Favorite credits: Tarzan (Mother/Arizona Broadway Theatre), Unstoppable Me (Becca/ PT’s Cookie Company), Hairspray (Tracy Turnblad/ DST), Urinetown (Little Becky Two Shoes/ PVCC) and The Wedding Singer (Julia/ DST). Harley is ecstatic to be making her debut at the Hale Centre Theatre. Some favorite recent roles include Lucy (You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown), Chava (Fiddler on the Roof), Pilar (Legally Blonde), Ursula (Little Mermaid), Featured Dancer (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), and Naphtali (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat). Monica is thrilled to return to the Hale stage in 9 to 5! Recent Hale credits include Oklahoma!A Christmas Carol, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Hairspray, and Damn Yankees. Other credits include Lyric Opera Theatre’s Little Women, Bat Boy: The Musical, and Cabaret. This May, Monica will graduate from Arizona State University with her B.A. in Theatre Performance. Nate is thrilled to be returning to HCT where he debuted as Sketch in Hairspray. Favorite roles: Grantaire in Les Miserables, Simeon in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Friedrich Von Trapp in The Sound of Music and Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka, all with Copperstar Repertory Co. Shelby is excited to continue work at the Hale Theatre where she performed in Oklahoma! A recent ASU graduate with degrees in Dance Performance and Education, English Literature and a Minor in Theatre, Shelby is grateful to be involved in this production. HEIDI JOHNSON

Heidi is delighted to be making her second appearance at Hale where she portrayed Fred’s wife in the 2013 production of A Christmas Carol. Currently a student at GCU, she spent four years in major/lead roles in VCHS theatre and musical productions and played Prudy Pingleton in VYT’s Hairspray. Heidi thanks Cambrian, Lincoln, Dave and Corrin for this remarkable opportunity and extends a loving shout-out to her family and friends for always being in her corner!

Cory is excited to be returning to the Hale stage in 9 to 5. Recent roles include Miles Gloriosus in A Funny Thing Happened … Forum, Tommy Djilas in The Music Man and Laurie in Hale's Little Women. Other credits: Gaston in Beauty & the Beast (ariZoni nomination), Ching Ho in Thoroughly Modern Millie (ariZoni Award) and Peter Van Daan in Diary of Anne Frank (ariZoni Award). TED GLAZEBROOK

Ted is thrilled to be performing again at Hale Centre Theatre. He was last seen in the roles of Captain Hennesy in Dames at Sea and Lt. Joseph Cable in South Pacific. Other roles include Paul (A Chorus Line), Sparky (Forever Plaid), Capt. Albert Lennox (Secret Garden) and Drake (Annie).
